Coffee and danish will be available by 8:30 A.M., and a boxed lunch will be available around noon. Both are included in the registration fee. Walk-ins are welcome, but you must pay the registration fee with a check. Cash and credit cards will not be accepted.
Please use Parking Lots A, C, or L on the campus map. These will have a sign saying ‘EVENT PARKING’ near the entrances. Handicap parking is available in A lot, and in the Visitor’s loop. Newton hall has wheel chair access, and those in need may be dropped off at Newton from the north side of Newton, on University Drive.
The Hampton Inn, near Wegmans plaza in Geneseo, is holding 10 rooms for conference participants, at a discounted rate of $131.12 + tax. To book a room, call (585) 447-9040 and mention the ASA UP-STAT 2014 Conference.
The Quality Inn (next door to the Hampton Inn) is offering rooms at a rate of $116.10 for a room with 2 double beds. The phone number is (585) 243-0500.
Any employee or student of a NY state school shouldn't have to pay sales tax, provided they bring a filled-out tax-exempt status form, and present it when registering at one of the inns.
